Business Listing Agreement

Effective date: October 26, 2026

This Business Listing Agreement ("Agreement") applies when you claim an existing listing or create a new listing on Handymap.ai. It is part of, and in addition to, our Terms of Service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

1. Who can claim or create a listing

  • You must own the business or be authorized to act for it, and be at least 18.
  • Claiming an existing listing: you prove control of the business by entering a code sent by text or voice call to the phone number on the state license record, unless you signed in with that number. If the record has no phone number, or the number has changed, you cannot claim it yet.
  • Creating a new listing: the listing is created from the information you provide. A license number is optional, but if you add one it must be yours and current.
  • Your public phone: the number homeowners call and text must be verified with a code each time you set a new number, unless it is the license record number you already verified when claiming.
  • A business can have only one listing, and an account can manage one listing.

2. Your listing information

  • Everything you add must be accurate, current and about your own business, including trades offered, service area, hours, license and languages spoken.
  • Only show licenses, certifications, insurance or affiliations you actually hold. Do not offer work that requires a license you do not have.
  • Public-record details (such as license number, classification and status) come from the state and may also appear on your listing. If they are wrong, correct them with the state agency and tell us.
  • You can hide your phone, email, address or licensee name from your public profile, and you can hide your whole listing from the map at any time from your account page.

3. Posts and photos

  • Post only photos and captions of work you or your team actually performed, that you have the right to share.
  • Do not include customers' personal information (such as faces, addresses or license plates) without their permission.
  • No pricing promises you will not honor, misleading before-and-after images, or content that violates the Terms.
  • Up to 3 photos per post during the beta; we may change these limits.

4. How listings appear

  • Listings are shown on the map by location and filters chosen by the homeowner (such as trade and language). During the beta no one can pay for placement.
  • Claimed and created listings are grouped into map clusters by the same rules as all other listings.
  • The AI assistant suggests a type of trade, not a specific business.
  • Homeowners may save and like your listing. You see total counts on your account page.

5. Contacting homeowners

Homeowners reach you directly by phone or text. Treat their contact details and anything you learn about their homes as confidential, use them only to respond to their request, and follow applicable laws on calls, texts and marketing. Do not contact homeowners who have not contacted you based on information from Handymap.

6. Fees

Listings are free during the beta. If we introduce paid plans or paid features, we will tell you before they apply to you and will not charge you without your agreement.

7. Our rights

We may review, edit for format, hide or remove listing content, refuse or reverse a claim, or suspend a listing if we believe it is inaccurate, violates this Agreement or the Terms, or puts homeowners at risk. If someone else proves they control the business, we may transfer the listing to them.

8. Ending this Agreement

You can hide your listing or ask us to remove your claim and profile by emailing support@handiers.com. Removing your claim deletes the information you added; listings built from public records may remain on the map without your added details. Sections 2, 5 and 7 and the Terms' disclaimers, limitation of liability and indemnity survive.
